Transformation Tuesday -How I Made My Prayer a Priority in My Life

I didn't always pray. True Story, I would get very angry with my mother who would try to get me to pray as often as possible. I felt as if she was going behind to make me feel insecure, inadequate, and insufficient, but that was a lie from the enemy. My mother was teaching me about the gift of prayer, the purpose, and the promise that prayer has in individual life. Prayer is a communication between God and you. Prayer is even more vital in 2020.

I always knew that prayer is substantial and necessary in my life. I want to know if is prayer important and needed in your life, your family, your business, or your ministry?

Don’t wait to pray! Act Now! Pray!

What is prayer? Prayer is communication between you and God. The bible says Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). It is God’s plan for us to pray to him about every situation and everything. Besides, all men should pray to the Lord. According to Luke 18:1 -Also [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).

What is the purpose of prayer? Prayer is for us to indicate our heart desires to God and for him to indicates his heart desires and plan back to our hearts and lives. The bible says in Palms 21:2 You have given him his heart's desire; you have answered his request. Furthermore, the purpose is an intentional request unto the Lord. According to 1 Peter 4:7 Since we are approaching the end of all things, be intentional, purposeful, and self-controlled so that you can be given to prayer.

What are the results of prayer? The results are that God answers prayer. According to Isaiah 65:24, “Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear.” Speak to God because he has all the answers. God is unto you and your prayer requests. According to Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Speak to God and will he speak to you.

Prayer changes all things!
