It Is Well- A Faith Confession

Synopsis: 2 Kings 4:8-26- This is the story of the Shunammite Women – This a short glimpse of a Transformational Woman .She showed hospitality to the prophet Elisha, constructing a room where he could stay whenever he was in the town. She is childless, but Elisha prophesies that she will have a son. A year later she gives birth to a son. The son dies, but the Shunammite Women did not give up. According to the Bible, ESV 2 Kings 4:18–37 relates how, when her son had grown up, he became sick and died. She goes to Elisha for help, and he brings her son back to life.

Focus Verse: 2 Kings 4: 26 Run at once to meet her and say to her, ‘Is all well with you? Is all well with your husband? Is all well with the child?’” And she answered, “All is well.”

Shunammite Woman declares a faith statement it is well. It was something that lost for a moment. She declared a faith statement despise what it looks like. The son died. While she made a faith statement. She needed to use her faith in a dark situation. For example , -COVID-19 is a dark situation a loss of a family member , being hospitalized , a loss of career. The main point people are losing their faith in 2020. Do not lose your faith amid COVID-19. I am a God who can arise in any situation. God can do anything.

It is imperative to be like the Shunammite Woman and use your faith for your family, faith, and future. Don’t give up on your dreams, your family, your faith, or your future because you are tired during the Pandemic. COVID-19 is just a season. Seasons will change eventually.

The Shunammite Woman represents your faith for your family. She is a mother, a wife, a business owner, and a representation of her community. The Shunammite women had favor with God. She declares that it is well. As you may be going through a dark place right now – Say it “ It is well” between you and God. Don’t be distracted about what you see but be moved by what you hear. Faith comes by hearing and Romans 10: 17 So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

There are four areas t that the Shummaite Women focus on:

Family – Prayer that it is well with your family. Declare that you and your family are happy, healthy, and whole. Declare your family is established well able. Declare you and your family. Your family needs your strength , prayers , advice and faith. Job 22:28 ESV -You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways. The Shunammite Women cover her family by declaring it is well though it was not. You can do the same for you family.

Faith- Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Your faith shall be with you thru the next five months. Declared it is well in your spirit, family, faith, and future. Use your faith to call in a new season , a new start , a new business , a new child in your family. Use your faith despite your environment. Walk in faith.

Future- Shummaite woman went to the prophet Elijah for her future. The child is the Shunammite's woman legacy. The child carries her family’s name. Your future can be your children, a business, a ministry. What will be the legacy you will leave on the Earth? God ensured the Shaummaite women's legacy was sure because he raised her son from death. God will and can raise anything dead in your life. God had the best plans for the Shaummaite woman and you. Jeremiah 29:11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God knows your future and will cultivate his promises within your faith. The Shaummatie Woman said it is well over her future.

Fight: Do not allow the enemy to take your family, your faith, and your future. The Shunammite woman declared over her family, faith, and future. So, don’t go the rest of 2020 without making a bold declaration it is well over your family, faith, and future.

Challenge : Declare it is well over your family, faith & future. Let this be your faith confession.

Prayer: Dear God helps me to have a faith confession despite my environment and challenges. Reveal your plan for my family, and future. Increase my faith. Allow my faith confession to be it is well. In Jesus' name. Amen

Salvation Invitation -Romans 10:13 New King James Version (NKJV) 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
