God is Your Sustainer!

Introduction

Reference Bible Verse: Isaiah 46:4-New International Version-4 Even to your old age and gray hair I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you, and I will carry you; I will sustain you, and I will rescue you.

Here's a little reminder that we All need to hear everyone. Once in a while, you are the heartbeat of your family. Listen, friend: life is short. That's why you and I need to have support from God to sustain our motherly life. So now, let's seize the day. Who's with me to allow God to help you maintain your life.

God is your sustainer, your caretake and, your rescue in every season of your life! You must know that your motherhood is essential to God. He wants you to be sustainable in the time in your life. So, how do you keep your motherhood going? Here are the three tips to help you sustain your motherhood prayer, fasting, and self-care.


Prayer

Prayer: What is prayer? Prayer is communication between you and God. The bible says Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). It is God's plan for us to pray to him about every situation and everything. Besides, all men should pray to the Lord. According to Luke 18:1 -Also [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).

What is the purpose of prayer? Prayer is for us to indicate our heart desires to God and for him to means his heart desires and plan back to our hearts and lives. The bible says in Palms 21:2 You have given him his heart's desire; you have answered his request. Furthermore, the purpose is an intentional request unto the Lord. According to 1 Peter 4:7, Since we are approaching the end of all things, be intentional, purposeful, and self-controlled so that you can be given to prayer.

Prayer provides communication between you and God. In prayer is where you will find answers on how to maintain your life. What are the results of prayer? The results are that God answers prayer. According to Isaiah 65:24, "Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear." Speak to God because he has all the answers. God is unto you and your prayer requests. According to Philippians 4:6, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Speak to God and will he speak to you. God will help you sustain your prayer life!

Real-World Application for Prayer: Prayer provides communication and time with God to gain out strength, strategy, and a safe place to know and confirm the sustain that you need, my friend.

· Ask God what you need to do to make your life more sustainable.

· Be Thankful for your present and future.

· Take 5 minutes out of your schedule to pray to God.




Fasting

Fasting: Fasting is a supernatural occurrence that brings results. Man didn't create fasting; God did! According to the bible in King James Bible- Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. This particular bible verse discusses how to pray and fast to eliminate a ( evil spirit). Therefore, it is vital to ensure the purpose of your fast. What is the purpose of your fast? When should I fast and how should I fast? Also, throughout the bible, when God's people wanted to gain victory in any areas of their lives, they called a fast. Fasting is can be done in secret between just you and God! For example, in Matthew 6:18, English Standard Version-18, your fasting may not be seen by others but by your secret Father. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. Fasting provides rest in our bodies. Fasting provides sustainability in our spiritual, mental, and body. Fasting provides clarity, clear vision, and calmness. God will help you sustain your fasting life!


Real-World Application

Fasting is abstaining from all or some kinds of food or drink, especially as a religious observance. You can fast for God's wisdom and victory. You can select a simple, effective, and impactful fast just for you—there are various fast to choose from one day to 21 days. Here are just a few quick types. Please pray about the kind and proper fast for you( please ask medical experts based on your health conditions.)

•Full -Fast ( only liquids) for a certain number of days.

•3-Day Fast ( you can choose what sustain from). Ex. I usually eat no meat.

•The Daniel Fast (21 days fruits and vegetables only).


Self-Care

Self-care is defined as the practice of taking an active role in protecting one's well-being and happiness, in particular during periods of stress. Self-care is essential to our daily lives. Self-care is not selfish by a true pillar to maintain our busy lives. God is demanding for your self-care plan to include rest, refresh, regroup and reset. .Please rest in God! According to the Bible, Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest. Resting in God is part of the self-care plan. God will sustain you, and give you rest! God will help you support your self-care thru resting in him first. God is our Sustainer (Psalm 54:4).


Real-World Application for Self-Care

Here are some ideas to help you begin or maintain your self-care plan. Self-care matters to God! Rest in Him!

· Choose a quiet space – Take 15 minutes from everyone and everything ( ex. your car)

· Book a Massage- give your body a chance to reset!

· Go for a walk- Clear your mind!
